ITEMS & PERKS YOU’LL GET
*** Team will provide a team itinerary for each day that is laminated outlining the route for the day and another with contact numbers of support crew, Address of where the camp each night. There will be a separate card for each day that can be easily fit into bike bags or jerseys
*** Team will provide water 2-Orange jugs, gatorade packets and beer (na too).
*** We have housing with showers or camp near shower facilities almost every night. Sometimes showers cost up to $10 if you find one. We have a Portable heated shower system and will use it each night.
*** Team will provide some breakfast snacks each day (pop tarts, granola, fruit snacks and some fresh fruit). Chips and other snack items will be provided all week as well.
*** Team will have four large coolers (2 beer, One Water and one smaller for team community use. We will also have one large YETI cooler that is to only store ice and accessed only by the support/driver crew.
*** Team will provide every rider with 1 slap koozie, 1 Jersey, 1 Tee Shirt, and Stickers. Shorts, bibs, hats, and extra items will be charged in addition to your team fee.
*** Team will not register as a team. Registration is on you this year. Day passes are available at the Ragbrai trailers in every overnight town.
*** Team will provide and set up housing for each night where we will have the bus and support vehicle access. Team also provides a nice thank you card, tee shirts, and gift card for our host ($50 Hy-Vee or CASEYS) . Be overly thankful to the host! Take your shoes off in their home!
*** Team will have a bike tool kit on the bus and at camp so you will not need to bring tons of supplies (3 bike pumps, tool kit will be provided) K.C. will have about any tool you will need for anything throughout the week.
*** Team provides transportation of you and your gear all week, a paid driver (Swayze) and paid support person (Ando). Please tip your drivers and support via venmo tip jar set up by Sylvia at the end of week. These guys work very hard for you and take valuable time away from their careers and families to help you! They are the best in the business so show them the love.
*** Other items Team will provide: power inverter to charge phones and iPods if we don’t find housing with electricity, games for at camp, limited food and munchies for at camp, gas for the bus and support vehicles, portable picnic tables and more!
***Please bring portable battery chargers for your phones and electronics. Electricity will not be accessible at all times and you do not want a dead phone in the middle of Iowa while on your own.
***Label everything you bring! There are 35 people sharing the bus and camp space with you. Label your duffle, clothes, sleeping bag, tent, charging cables, water bottles etc. Label EVERYTHING!
A sharable jackhammer clothing and swag bin will be offered. If you have jerseys, tee shirts, hats or other team gear please label it and put it in the sharable bin so some of the newer members can look as pimp as us veterans. If you borrow from the bin please put it back. Any sharable clothing can be marked with a # sign next to initials so it can be put back in the bin after washing.
